The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for organizing and executing many aspects of agency communications and marketing efforts, including development communications like annual appeals and donor-facing publications.
The ideal candidate will be a creative and flexible team player who is experienced in creating and curating content, is a strong and creative writer, can do some light graphic design while managing a contract designer in more complicated projects, and is comfortable researching and deploying effective strategies to take the organization's key goals (fundraising, visibility, hiring, enrollment) to the next level.
They will be well organized, pay close attention to detail, write well, and be able to manage multiple projects within their domain and with stakeholders across the agency.
Responsibilities Create and deploy multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across Constant Contact, social media, and website for events and fundraising campaigns, including creating designs, curating imagery, and writing much of the copy to be used in these campaigns.
Coordinate and deploy content and design elements on our based website; perform regular website updates and edits including imagery, functionality, and content.
Coordinate content creation and design for all print and electronic publications, including program brochures, newsletters, and annual report.
Manage relationships with third-party or outsourced vendors or parties for print and design when necessary.
Contribute to the creation of a social media strategy for the agency; manage the day-to-day aspects of the organization's social media accounts (currently Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn, with plans for Instagram in the future).
Create and maintain a marketing calendar for planning purposes, including RFK Community Alliance events and appeals, planned marketing campaigns, relevant cause awareness days/weeks/months, etc.
Curate and collect content for use across marketing channels from fellow staff members and individuals with connections to RFK Community Alliance.
Advise and support RFK Community Alliance programs with their independent marketing efforts.
Adhere to the marketing and design budget.
Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to graphic design work for multiple uses, taking high-quality photos with Perkins DSLR camera, writing speeches for colleagues, organizing marketing files in an easy to access manner, and documenting marketing procedures and processes.
Who You AreYou will have at least 1 year of relevant experience and the ability to write effective copy for multiple channels and purposes.
Must be comfortable with some design work in a program like Canva, Illustrator, etc and able to handle basic design projects (flyers, invitations, social, etc.
).
Looking for a team player capable of developing work plans, managing projects, and executing a variety of tasks as part of a fast-paced team.
Digital marketing, social media, and/or some basic design experience.
Must be able to show examples of your previous work.
Shift:
40 Hours Full time, Permanent, This position is located at our main offices in Lancaster, MA and offers a hybrid office and work-from-home schedule.
